Saints’ Most Difficult Matchups on 2021 Schedule: No. 4 – Tennessee Titans

Normally the Saints wouldn’t be facing the Titans if the AFC South wasn’t part of their schedule but with the addition of the 17th game, a trip to Tennessee is in the cards for the Saints. They drew the Titans because the NFC South was matched up with the AFC South and the Saints and Titans were the respective winners of those divisions.

The Titans are a good football team and they have one of the best running backs in football in Derrick Henry, who bulldozed his way to over 2,000 yards rushing a season ago. The Saints were one of the best run defenses in the league last year so that will be a fun matchup to watch. Henry didn’t play the last time these two teams met.

The Titans were in the AFC Championship Game just two years ago and won their division last year so they’re definitely a worthy adversary. This game taking place in Nashville gives them the edge when the Saints come to town and as we saw a few years ago when these two teams squared off, it should be a fun one.
