After signing a good chunk of undrafted players within 24 hours of the draft ending, the Saints added three more players that will hopefully help fill some current voids to their training camp roster who will vie for spots on the team’s roster.

Josiah Bronson, DT, Washington

Believe it or not, Bronson has been in college since 2015. He first played with the Temple University in 2015 where he didn’t start, play, or see time in any game that season due to multiple knee injuries. He didn’t play a single game in Temple in 2015 or 2016.

Bronson ended up coming home to Washington where he walked on with the Huskies. He played three seasons with Washington before being signed. His most notable single season was in 2019 where he had 16 tackles, 2.0 sacks, and 4.0 tackles for a loss.

Two days after the NFL Draft concluded, the New Orleans Saints have signed three more undrafted free agents that will take part in training camp.

Alex Hoffman, LT, Carroll College

The Saints also added Alex Hoffman, one of the free agents from a smaller school. The team is known to add players like this who the coaches can train to be NFL stars. Obviously, if the team reached out to sign him, they see potential in him.

They could always use help on the offensive line as well.

Lawrence Woods, CB, Truman State

Woods is listed as a cornerback, but Woods was probably more signed for his stand-out special team’s skills. He is a dual-threat (similar to Deonte Harris) who can play a skill position and play on special teams.

At least for now, he should be a welcomed addition.

The New Orleans Saints continue to add to their training camp roster where they will work out all of these players and decide on who will get a spot on the 53-man roster. The team is continuing to develop toward the 2021 season.
