Saints 2021 NFL Draft WR prospect: Rondale Moore – Purdue

Rondale Moore finished up his junior year at the University of Purdue before declaring for the draft. This small but quick receiver could make an immediate impact on the Saints from the slot position similar to Julian Edelman from the Patriots.

The Big Ten receiver totaled over 100 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards in his freshman season. He also accumulated 12 touchdowns in 13 games. 2018 was undoubtedly Moore’s best season as he only played in seven total games his sophomore and junior year.

However, that didn’t stop the receiver from averaging 13.3 yards per receptions in the four games he played in his sophomore season. Moore’s speed and agility are apparent every time he touches the ball. He is a guaranteed big-play threat every down.

According to CBS Sports, Rondale Moore is the No. 20 ranked prospect and the No. 5 ranked wide receiver behind the ones projected to go in the top 10. Because of that, there is a chance that the Saints might not have Moore on the board come pick No. 28.
