Saints: 3 first-round picks who could fall down to No. 28

The New Orleans Saints, at least for the last five years, have almost perennially drafted in the latter half of the first round. This year, the black and gold find themselves all but four picks from the very bottom.

As the draft and prospect information continues to develop, analyst’s mock drafts continue to be posted. There are three specific people on this list that were mid to early-first-round talents that have fallen over the course of the last month.

The Saints have a lock on several NFL Draft prospects, but there may be some surprise fallings that catch the team off guard.

Whether because of their workouts or other player’s workouts, they have fallen down to late-first-round picks. Even though they have fallen, these prospects are still full-on immense talent and should be immediately considered at No. 28.

The Saints should stay where they are at and hope of one these talents falls instead of trying to trade up and get them earlier. Here are the three top prospects that have a chance to fall down the board in the first round all the way to the Saints at No. 28.
