Saints 2021 Mock Draft Round 3: No. 98, No. 105 — Rashad Weaver and Aaron Banks

These last two are specifically to fill holes New Orleans will still have.

Rashad Weaver will come first at No. 98. He spent three seasons as a defensive end at Pittsburgh. While defensive tackle could also be a play here, losing Trey Hendrickson combined with Cameron Jordan‘s age and Marcus Davenport‘s durability could be brutal.

Weaver would help bring depth to their line. He racked up 109 tackles and 17 sacks in three seasons at Pitt. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound lineman is being projected in the third round and could be taken here.

After Weaver could be guard Aaron Banks. The Saints lost Nick Easton, so getting a versatile big man could be crucial.

NFL.com has Banks as a 6.9, meaning they think he’ll be a starter within two years which would be huge for the Saints. Banks was part of the Associated Press All-America First Team.
