Saints 2021 Mock Draft Round 2: No. 60 — WR Rondale Moore

With a 4.29 40-yard dash, Rondale Moore is among the quickest players in the upcoming draft. That time is currently second, only behind Auburn wide receiver Anthony Schwartz according to Sporting News.

Moore is oftentimes being mocked in the second round, so if he falls to 60, this could be a steal.

Moore had an absolutely stunning freshman season. Putting up 1,258 yards as an 18-year-old freshman is incredibly impressive. Moore is just 5-foot-9, and the Saints have a player that’s similar in style with Deonte Harris.

Harris came on late last season as an actual offensive threat. As for Moore, he’s more a pure receiver. Combining for just seven games in his last two seasons with Purdue, Moore’s stock could’ve been in the first round had he dominated these last few years.

The speed from Moore on an offense with a cannon arm like Winston’s should be electrifying for the Saints. This would be a huge win if Moore slides, which he certainly could.
