New Orleans Saints: 3 factors that will decide the QB battle

The team has been reported to have been highly interested in University of Florida quarterback Kyle Trask. With only Hill and Winston on the roster, they should still be looking for a third quarterback to back them up.
If they actually do look and draft this quarterback out of Kyle Trask, could it be because they see potential in him to be a future influential piece?
Remember, Taysom Hill is on a non-team-friendly contract and Jameis Winston only signed a one-year deal, so there’s no telling if he’ll come back after a successful season.
That would mean that the QB battle we are looking at might not even be between Hill and Winston, but the future might be Trask against whoever starts this season. Trask had a quality college career if he can translate this to the professional level.

It will be a tough decision between Sean Payton and his offensive team of coaches to decide who is going to drive the ship this year. I do think that the Saints have a better quarterback room than most teams in a year following the loss of a future Hall-of-Famer.
