The biggest news of the offseason for the New Orleans Saints was the loss of their over-decade-long starting quarterback. The QB is arguably the most important position on the field for the offense or on a team altogether.

Drew Brees, a future Hall-of-Fame quarterback, was an excellent leader, passer, and person. To fill those shoes is going to be no easy task, but Sean Payton and the team fully believe his replacement next season is already in the quarterback room.

Now, the decision comes down to one of these two — or does it? The quarterback battle is just getting ready to heat up in the “Big Easy” and you are not going to want to miss a single minute of it over the next couple of months.

Here are the top three factors that will decide who is the next Saints quarterback.
