3 free agents the Saints could target in the second wave

The Saints finished 12-4 and losing in the divisional round of the playoffs is not what everyone remembers about the end of the season, but rather the retirement of the long-time great Drew Brees.

However, the show must still go on.

In the first wave of free agency, the Saints pretty much sat on the sidelines. They had enough trouble getting the team to where it needed to be under the lowered salary cap before the start of the 2021 season. They ended up releasing a lot of players.

The New Orleans Saints still have holes on their roster to fill. Here are three quality free agent options available in the second wave.

That left them with holes that still need to be filled. Now, granted, the team does still have the NFL Draft to assess these problems. However, there are still quite a few that I don’t think you can rely on the draft alone to complete the roster.

As we start to enter the second wave of free agency, this is where the Saints should jump in. They would be able to get quality players below market value and improve the depth and quality of their team. Here are the top three the Saints should reach out to.
