vs Carolina Panthers (Round 2) (5-0)

The Carolina Panthers have been in talks as the favorite to land Texans’ superstar Deshaun Watson. They cleared cap, but with Watson’s current legal situation, I don’t think that trade happens any time soon. They will continue to be mediocre until then.

vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Round 1) (5-1)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers not only won the Super Bowl last year, but they also managed to bring back almost every player from that roster. The Saints, on the other hand, lost most of their depth because of the cap situation. I don’t expect this game to be competitive.

vs Dallas Cowboys (5-2)

Last year, the NFC East was one of the worst divisions in football. The Cowboys didn’t help that after they lost Dak Prescott to a season-ending injury. They never found their grove without him last season, but they should win the division with him and a healthy Ezekiel Elliot this season.

vs New York Giants (6-2)

The New York Giants are continually in a rebuild. I don’t think that the team gets the results that they want with Daniel Jones at the helm. Saquon Barkley should be back so that will help but they don’t have enough firepower to contend with New Orleans.
