Larry Warford

Let’s stay on the offensive line.

During the 2020 offseason, the Saints let go of three-time Pro Bowl guard Larry Warford. Warford then opted out of the 2020 season along with many other players that didn’t want the risk of getting Covid-19.

Warford spent four seasons in Detroit after being a third-round pick in the 2013 draft. He then came to New Orleans and immediately found a home. Sadly, he was let go to free cap space as the team then opted to draft Cesar Ruiz in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Ruiz and 2019 second-round pick Erik McCoy are expected to start on the offensive line. That said, Warford should be available as a free-agent option, and there aren’t many three-time Pro Bowlers on the market that are still capable of playing prime football.

Warford should get some looks if he’s willing to play this upcoming season.
