Number Two: Richard Sherman

The New Orleans Saints have already been rumored to be interested in Richard Sherman, and that should be very exciting for Saints fans across the world.

Sherman, a five-time Pro Bowler at the cornerback position, has proven he can still play at a high level and the Saints could be the next stop in his journey.

Could you imagine being a wide receiver playing against the Saints and having both Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and Richard Sherman trash-talking you all game?

Sherman in the Saints secondary would thrive and could bring back flashes of his Seattle self. Sherman, in 2020, was limited to just five games due to an injury, but he still managed to accumulate 18 total tackles, one pass defended, and one interception.

While injuries plagued his tenth NFL season, we saw Sherman put up Pro Bowl numbers just a season prior. In 2019, Sherman tallied 61 total tackles, 11 passes defended, three interceptions, and a defensive touchdown.

Sherman’s ties with new defensive backs coach Kris Richard could make the Saints an appealing option for Richard Sherman.
