Jadeveon Clowney

The last player on our list is arguably the most unlikely, but it’s Jadeveon Clowney.

The Saints were on the verge of clearing the space and adding Clowney last season before he went to Tennessee and struggled immensely. Clowney failed to record a single sack with the Titans, a team that made the playoffs in the AFC.

A three-time Pro Bowler while with the Texans, Clowney has not played well these past two seasons. After back-to-back seasons with at least nine sacks, Clowney has had three in these past two seasons despite playing in 21 games.

His production could make him in the reach for New Orleans, especially considering he’s been with both the Seahawks and Titans, who teams that contend for the playoffs.

He may take a discount to come to the Big Easy, and if that would be the case, the Saints should quickly run out and add the former No. 1 overall pick.
