Ryan Kerrigan

A 6-foot-4 veteran linebacker, Ryan Kerrigan has spent his entire career in Washington. The Football Team has yet to re-sign him. While the Saints may not have the cap, Kerrigan is older so it may not take too much.

He’s been both productive and efficient as he’s aged. In every single one of his ten seasons, Kerrigan has played in over ten games. He’s actually just missed time in one year, playing all 16 games in nine of his ten seasons.

On top of being available, a trait Marcus Davenport doesn’t have, Kerrigan is productive, having been a four-time Pro Bowler and having notched over five sacks in each of his ten seasons. That’s impressive.

While his production has tapered off these last two seasons, combining for just 11 sacks, Kerrigan is a capable and consistent option for New Orleans. Adding the veteran defensive end would be a win-win move for the Saints.
