Jonnu Smith/Hunter Henry, New England Patriots

The New England Patriots went to work in the early parts of free agency. I thought that the Patriots were just going to sign the entire market and call it an offseason. Man, they improved their roster from what they had last year.

The biggest improvement besides Jalen Mills or Matthew Judon on the defensive side of the ball is the now teammates Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry.

We all know how the Patriots and Bill Belicheck love to run a two-tight end set. We saw it early with Gronkowski and Hernandez back in the day.

Jonnu Smith is coming from the Tennessee Titans where he had 41 receptions for 448 yards and eight touchdowns on a HUGE run-heavy offense. Hunter Henry is coming from the Chargers where he had 60 receptions for 613 yards and four touchdowns with a rookie quarterback.

New England went out and re-signed Cam Newton and then proceeded to go and get the man some weapons. Now, the Saints are going to have to be prepared to shut down probably the best tight-end duo in the NFL sometime this season.
