3 early free agent moves that will impact the Saints in 2021

The New Orleans Saints were already working against the cap going into this offseason. After a plethora of releases and restructures, the Saints finally found enough money to stay under the cap and make some positive moves going forward.

They ended up franchise tagging Marcus Williams which will keep him around for another year. They also went out and found a way to give Jameis Winston a $12 million contract to let him battle out the starting job with Taysom Hill, who they also restructured.

2021 is going to look a lot different around the NFL, here are three signings from early in free agency that will affect the Saints this season.

They might have lost players like Trey Hendrickson, but they are still going to be competitive and playoff-worthy in 2021. Outside of what the Saints are doing, there are plenty of other teams around the NFL that have been making early free-agent moves.

Out of the ones that the Saints play next season, there are a few big names that the black and gold are going to see now. Here are the three biggest signings from the early stages of free agency that will affect the Saints throughout the next season.
