Alvin Kamara

It’s hard to imagine telling someone like Alvin Kamara that he is going to need to step up, but he is going to have to play the way he did last year with a new quarterback to alleviate the pressure on these upcoming wide receivers to thrive.

Last year, Kamara was one of the deadliest weapons the Saints had. Whether you tried to tackle him in the open field or tried to stop him catching a pass out of the backfield, Kamara pretty much got his way on every play with Drew Brees.

This coming year is going to change. Hopefully, Jameis Winston will be at the helm so he will have had chemistry with Kamara. If that is the case, then Kamara will step up to the plate and be so much of a threat that he will allow these receivers to thrive.

It was inevitable that Emmanuel Sanders was going to get cut. Not that the team doesn’t want him, but they are up against a mountain trying to get under the cap. With Sanders gone, these three will play pivotal roles next year.
