Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are in need of a wide receiver, obviously. Even though the Bears have a plethora of other positions that they could address first, a wide receiver quickly climbs the list when you realize that Darnell Mooney is going to be the No. 1 receiver next year.

When you think that Allen Robinson, the star Bears receiver last season will most likely leave in free agency this offseason, the Bears are in trouble. Last year, Robinson had 102 receptions for 1,270 yards and six touchdowns.

The next closest Bears’ receiver only had 61 receptions for 631 yards. After that, it goes downhill quickly. With there not being a hot market to come to a team that has had quarterback problems for the last couple of years, they are taking what they can get.

Even though Sanders didn’t put up Allen Robinson-type numbers, he would still help fill the void that he is leaving better than most free agents. Plus, the Saints are only looking for draft capital from the Bears in return for Sanders.
