Devontae Booker, Las Vegas Raiders

Lastly, Devontae Booker would be a great fit in New Orleans. Booker had one of his best seasons in his career as the Raiders backup last year. He appeared in all 16 games but only started one all year for Las Vegas.

He rushed for 423 yards and three touchdowns. Outside of his rookie season where he started six games for the Denver Broncos, both of those are career highs for the fifth-year running back out of the University of Utah.

Currently, Booker makes $1.047 million for the Raiders. The Saints could be able to top that at $1.1 or even $1.5 million and still save almost $3 million from Murray. Booker would serve the same role in New Orleans as he was used to in Las Vegas.

In no way do I wish the Saints to get rid of Latavius Murray, but that is also what I said about Thomas Morstead and Josh Hill. However, the cap is just that fierce for the Saints that this is a real possibility, and they need to think about replacements at least.
