If the New Orleans Saints decided that they wanted to wait, clear some cap space, and go after a big-name quarterback in 2022, here are their top options.

The New Orleans Saints are in quite the quarterback pickle. They have a ton of players they could sign this offseason, but they have no money. They have someone in the house, but he too is also a free agent, and they might not be able to sign him back.

The black and gold might be better off just doing by with what they already have money invested in now — Taysom Hill. Then, they can start to look for a big-name signing within the next couple of years. There will be players that can lead New Orleans to a Super Bowl.

These signings might be impossible. That’s what you will think as you look through them. All three of them currently have club options going into the 2022 free agency. Most likely, all of their teams will pick up their contracts.

If that’s the case, then these three will all be unrestricted free agents in 2023.

However, there are some scenarios in which their respective teams don’t pick up their contract options. Either way, if the Saints decided to wait on the future of their quarterback, these three might be available next year.
