2018 Pittsburgh Steelers – Terrell Edmunds

With the No. 28 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted safety Terrell Edmunds from Virginia Tech University. Edmunds has been playing and starting with the team ever since. He has totaled 47 regular-season games since being drafted.

Adding a defender to an already dynamic defense, it wasn’t hard for Edmunds to fit into Pittsburgh. In his rookie season, he had 78 tackles, one sack, one fumble recovery, one interception, and four passes defended.

He rose those numbers in his next two years. From 2019-2020, Edmunds had 173 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and eight passes defended. They also added star safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in a trade from Miami that helped out Edmunds.

Together, the two are one of the best pairs of safeties in the entire NFL. The Pittsburgh Steelers found their diamond in Terrell Edmunds and turned him into a star. He will most likely be playing with the team for the foreseeable future.
