Actually win games

The New Orleans Saints have won 13, 13, and 12 games respectively over their last three seasons. This team was led by far more than just Drew Brees, and only lost one game in the nine that he missed over the past two seasons.

While the Texans have had success with Watt in their organization, they were a massive disappointment.

It all started last offseason when they traded Watson’s No. 1 weapon, receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins is one of the league’s best receivers, and his exodus hurt the Texans’ chances of winning in a division dominated by the Titans and Colts.

The Texans will have a top-five pick.

New Orleans will be drafting at No. 28 as they had a 12-4 record. Outed in the Divisional Round, New Orleans had success until they were matched with the Tom Brady-led Bucs, a team they had beaten twice in the regular season.

For Watt, the only question mark is the Saints quarterback situation. If he wanted to join the Saints, he could hang on to hope until Winston re-signs, and if it’s looking bleak, then he could head elsewhere.

For now, the pair remain unlikely partners, but the reason they should unite are there.
