New Orleans Saints

While the Saints did start Taysom Hill over Jameis Winston when Drew Brees went down in the middle of the last season, it’s Winston who seems to be the frontrunner for the position if he stays in the Big Easy.

Now, unlike the Steelers and other teams with elite quarterbacks, the Saints’ Drew Brees is more than likely retiring. The jury is still out, but it’s assumed that Big Ben will return. As for why he should stay with the Saints, the thought process is simple — he joined the Saints on a discount.

Now, he has a chance to do something impactful for a team that he already took less money to play with.

It would just make sense for him to see it out and continue to trust the process in New Orleans. Winston did have one bomb in the team’s Divisional Round matchup that went for a 56-yard touchdown.
