Washington Football Team

Washington Football Team did bring back Taylor Heinicke, and he may have a solid claim to the future of the position for them.

But, he’s not proven, and while Winston may have shown turnovers problems in his past, at least he also displayed one of the most dynamic arms in the sport. Winston threw for over 5,000 yards and led the league in passing yards.

On a team with an elite defensive front and Terry McLaurin offensively, the Football Team has a real chance to do something special in the near future, but Heinicke may not be the answer at quarterback.

They initially brought in Dwayne Haskins to be their future, and his struggles were obvious. Alex Smith also got some run, but he’s not a long-term solution either. Washington could use a player with the big-play potential like Winston.

They also rank sixth in cap space heading in 2021, so that could be a huge attraction for Winston.
