Demario Davis

We could probably make a list of player 10 to 15 deep that are untradeable, but at the end of the day, there are only a few that should really be deserving of the title and the final one we’ll talk about is linebacker Demario Davis.

Davis, as with Kamara, received a nice extension last season. He was signed on for three years last offseason, so he has two years left on that deal. The deal was valued at $27 million. Both parties should still feel happy with the contract.

That said, this past season, Davis, another iconic leader for the Saints, totaled 119 tackled. What’s even more impressive than him topping his last two seasons in tackles is that he played 100 percent of the defensive snaps in 14 games.

Davis hit double-digit tackles for a loss for a fourth straight season and continued to show why he’s among the best linebackers in the league. With 4.0 sacks and a handful of quarterback hits, Davis showed that he can do just about everything at the position.

Simply put, he’s a game-changer. The Saints defense was among the best last season and he was a big reason why.
