Alvin Kamara

This one feels obvious.

Alvin Kamara was terrific this past season, including a game against the Vikings in which he went for an insane six touchdowns. Now, the way some view paying running backs can be justified, and the Saints did give Kamara a payday to the tune of five years and $75 million.

For starters, there may not be a team that even wants to add him on that contract, but that is highly undoubtful after he showed half the NFC how inadequate their team is at tackling this season.

The dual-threat back totaled a career-high in yards, just 68 yards shy of his first 1,000-yard season on the ground, but what he doesn’t get on the ground he gets through the air. He’s a completely different back then say Derrick Henry.

Kamara went for 1,688 yards from scrimmage and tacked on a league-high 21 combined receiving and rushing touchdowns. After not getting in the endzone much last season, Kamara ended as the most impactful player on the offensive side for the black and gold.

Keeping him through the offseason is a must.
