With Drew Brees’ career coming to an end, the Saints need to be monitoring who is going to be the one to take over for him. Could they find that person in the NFL Draft?

The New Orleans Saints might not be currently preparing to replace Drew Brees, but the conversation has to at least have happened inside of the front office and coaching rooms with a possible pending retirement in the works.

There are two upfront possibilities for replacing Drew Brees. The first would be finding a replacement in free agency or via trade, and the other way would be drafting a quarterback in the NFL Draft with a first or second-round pick.

We have already analyzed some of the stars that are on the market right now in free agency, but I have yet to analyze some college quarterbacks that the team could pursue that could possibly be fit to take over a full-fledged powerhouse of an offense.

That means these three quarterbacks will be available to the team at the No. 28 spot or in the second round like Jalen Hurts. Here are the top three underrated quarterback options for the Saints to consider replacing Brees with.
