Picks + Marcus Davenport

This last trade would give the Green Bay Packers some much needed defensive pass rush. With Trey Henrickson likely re-signing after a terrific season, the Saints would have three starting defensive ends and can only utilize two at a time.

They should in turn get rid of one via trade and keep the other. Hendrickson offers major upside and Cameron Jordan is a New Orleans icon. That leaves Marcus Davenport as the odd end out and the most likely one to be involved in this trade.

They would also have to package the likes of Davenport with a first-round pick and likely a fourth-round and fifth-round pick in the process. With the Packers already prepared for their post-Rodgers team, they should be eager to gain some defensive prowess for the aging star.

That said, the likelihood of Aaron Rodgers being on the move is a very real possibility. However, the asking price for a superstar of this caliber is sure to be astronomical. The key question is would the Saints have enough to get what the Packers want.
