Michael Thomas to the New England Patriots

The New England Patriots and Bill Belichick are in the position to use a superstar wide receiver. Julian Edelman was injured most of last year, and outside of him, N’Keal Harry is the only other receiver worth talking about on the team.

They could definitely use a guy like Thomas who is a once in a lifetime receiver. They also are one of the few teams with the assets to be able to entice Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis to give up their superstar in exchange for.

For the Patriots, it would take a draft pick package. They have never been one to give up picks, so this would be rare for them. However, they could put together a package of a first, third, fifth, and sixth-round pick to the Saints.

If there was ever a year to get a pick package from the New England Patriots, it would be this year after their miserable season that led to a high pick. The Saints could then utilize Emmanuel Sanders and Tre’Quan Smith and even draft a receiver.

They also save $100 million in the process.
