The New Orleans Saints are set to pick at number 28 in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and they could look to snag Drew Brees’ replacement.

There will be a plethora of talent available to the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the NFL Draft.

But, unless they go after a big name guy in free agency (which they really can’t afford to do) they may have to draft one of the quarterbacks in one of the most talented quarterback drafts the NFL has ever seen.

The quarterbacks this season consist of three Heisman Trophy award finalists including Kyle Trask, Justin Fields, and Mac Jones. There is also a lot of hidden gems in the later portions of the draft as it’s likely that all three could be off the board.

Nonetheless, the Saints should take advantage of this loaded quarterback class and select Drew Brees’ replacement. Even if they don’t immediately replace Brees as the starter, it could be nice to have a long-term option available.

That said, here’s a look at three guys who could fit the standard.
