5 NFL Draft picks scenario

The last scenario involved a whopping five (!!) draft picks for Watson. I know that it sounds like we are giving up a haul for one player, but you have to realize just how good Watson is compared to everyone else. You also have to think about your team.

Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas along with the defense are in a win-now mindset. By the time you draft a quarterback late in the draft and train him up, there is a good chance that your win-now team has either left or isn’t in their prime anymore.

That should give you all the reasoning you need to trade for Deshaun Watson now. If they were to bring in a player who could throw for 5,000 yards and 30 touchdowns then there is a good chance that a Super Bowl is the next step.

The haul in this trade would include two first-round picks, one third-round pick, one fifth-round pick, and one-sixth round pick. This would be beneficial if the Texans are interested in more picks instead of all first-round picks.
