As the players and coaches are gearing up for Sunday’s divisional playoff showdown between the Bucs and Saints, fans should be too.

Saints fans are some of the most influential parts of the Saints organization and the winning that has happened over the last couple of years. As we approach the division round, they will be just as important — even in a different way.

Let’s understand our opponent.

The first time these two teams played, the Saints got the better of the Buccaneers. It was the first game of the year and without a preseason, we just chalked it up to the Buccaneers had so many new pieces that they were still working on their chemistry together.

The second time they played was midway through the season. By now, the Buccaneers should have figured their “kinks” out. It did not work though. The Saints ended up beating them 38-3, which was harder than the first time they played.

Now, they will face off for the third time this season. The Buccaneers are thinking the third time is the charm, but the Saints and fans are ready. They know how to beat Tampa Bay and Tom Brady. Fans need to be prepared in these three ways for the game.
