Demario Davis

The New Orleans Saints have one of the best linebackers in the NFL. Demario Davis has had a tremendous impact on this team, and they’ll need him to be at his best against the Tom Brady-led Buccaneers on Sunday.

Davis is an outside linebacker and can both track down running backs, cover tight ends and rush the quarterback. He’ll have his hands full against a Tampa Bay team that has two solid tight ends.

Cameron Brate and Ron Gronkowski along with a highly used running attack will be facing Davis. Davis has just five combined tackles and played in every single defensive snap this past weekend. Davis and Alex Anzalone shared linebacker duties with Kwon Alexander out.

Against a tougher foe, Davis will likely play far more and be relied upon to get the job done. If Davis goes off and makes plays, this team may yet again hold the Bucs to single digits. A captain on this defense, Davis will take all the blame if they fail, so let’s hope they don’t.
