Alvin Kamara

Alvin Kamara was one yard away from 100 this past Sunday.

He was playing against a mediocre Bears front that is led by superstar Khalil Mack. Prior to that, Kamara’s last time on the field was his dominating six-score victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Day.

The fourth-year back also found his way into the end zone. In two games against Tampa Bay this season, Kamara has a combined 56 rushing yards. He needs to be incredible for the Saints to dominate the Bucs like they did earlier this season.

Having made the Pro Bowl in all four seasons, Kamara has cemented himself as one of the best running backs in the league. He needs to be a force for the Saints, and if he’s not, they may end up dropping a game to an inferior opponent.

He’s hot, and Kamara needs to stay hot. Also, if Sunday is any reflection of this past Sunday, he’ll be a workhorse as Latavius Murray was given an opportunity in the Wild Card round.
