The Saints swept the Bucs in the regular season, but can they keep their season alive with a third victory against their divisional foes.

They say the playoffs are a different animal, and we are about to see that theory put to the test for the New Orleans Saints.

In the regular season, the Saints outscored the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a combined 46 points in their two meetings. Considering that both of those games took place on national television, this is something you probably already know.

However, the dust apparently could not be settled in the regular season.

For the third time this season, these two teams will face off. Yet, what happened in the past no longer matters. This is the playoffs, and if New Orleans loses this game, it won’t mean much that they swept the regular-season series.
