The Saints may have come away with a victory in the Wildcard Round against the Bears, but that doesn’t mean that fans shouldn’t be concerned moving forward.

For the second straight season, the Saints opened up the playoffs as a massive home favorite in the Wild Card round. Last year, they suffered a massive letdown loss against the Vikings.

When they were only up 7-3 against the Bears, it felt like this season could leave them to suffer a similar fate. However, in the end, they were able to get the monkey on their back, pulling through with a 21-9 victory.

On the surface, this should be an exciting result for Saints fans.

Their Super Bowl hopes are still alive, after all, and any playoff victory should feel sweet. At the same time, given the circumstances, it is hard not to be slightly concerned about the team’s outlook after a rather unconvincing win.

What are these concerns? Let us take a closer look at some of the pressing issues that were on full display this past Sunday.
