Coach of the Year – Dennis Allen

Last year, the weak side of the ball was the defense. It was no denying that the team needed to improve the defense in order to win a Super Bowl. Well, they went out and did just that. They added Malcolm Jenkins and Kwon Alexander.

Dennis Allen has done a huge job this year turning this defense who was barely top 15 last year to almost a top 10 defense on every front. The line, middle, and secondary looked better than ever. He developed young players and let star players run. It has been fun to watch.

Most Valuable Player – Alvin Kamara

In my opinion, the definition of the Most Valuable Player is the one team could not be in the same position without. This team would be in a whole different place right now if it were not for the pure raw talent of running back, Alvin Kamara.

After getting a new contract in the offseason, he showed why he deserved as much as he got. Kamara finished the year leading the team in receptions (83), receiving yards (756), receiving touchdowns (5), rushing yards (932), and rushing touchdowns (16).
