Carl Granderson

Carl Granderson has made an appearance in 14 games this season, but he is not a name that you typically hear of. With Cameron Jordan, Marcus Davenport, and Trey Hendrickson all at the defensive end position, Granderson got lost in the mix.

With not much on the line for the Saints, Granderson got more playing time than he normally would to try and save Jordan and Hendrickson’s legs for the Wild Card Weekend. He ended up making the most of his time on the field.

He only came away with two tackles, but those two tackles were some of the biggest of the game. He also had two tackles for a loss, two hits on the quarterback, and two sacks to end the regular season.

That gave him three on the year.

Granderson showed in Week 17 that he at least has given the team enough to keep him as a backup to Cameron Jordan on the opposite side of Davenport/Hendrickson. Granderson came, showed up, and balled out in the regular-season finale.
