Number One: Drew Brees

This selection comes as no surprise as the 2020 season has been highly considered to be the final season we see Drew Brees take the field. Brees, 41, will likely retire even if the Saints don’t win the Super Bowl, but going out on top would only be fitting for the most underrated quarterback in NFL history.

Brees is often left out of MVP and greatest of all-time conversations due to his lone Super Bowl ring, and a second ring would likely shoot him right back up to the top where he belongs.

Brees holds pretty much every passing record there is to hold in NFL history and a second Super Bowl ring would be the icing on the cake of a fantastic NFL career.

The impact Drew Brees has had on New Orleans as a whole will likely never be matched by anyone else and he will probably consider the city home for life.

If Brees does hang up the cleats following this season, it will allow Drew to get the rest he rightfully deserves after going to war each week in New Orleans since 2006.
