The New Orleans Saints have one more game before the playoffs, but if the team comes out on top, they could see a few of their guys hang up the cleats for good.

Obviously, predicting someone’s retirement is not an easy thing to do, but I’m going to give it my best shot using multiple factors to help determine why it could be a possibility. The Saints have several veterans.

When you think of the Saints players that are older, everyone’s mind immediately goes to Drew Brees, who is 41 years old. But, he’s far from the only Saint that may be hanging up the cleats if the team comes out on top following this season.

If the Saints win and the Packers lose and the Seahawks win, the Saints will have the top seed and the No.1 spot in the NFC. That would be a huge boost not only in terms of rest but also in terms of confidence moving forward.

The Saints have a pretty steady amount of older guys to younger guys and some of the older guys to opt to go out a champion and hang up the cleats.
