Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, CB/S

Chauncey Gardner-Johnson isn’t necessarily a snub from the Pro Bowl this year, but he is definitely one of the younger Saints that has multiple Pro Bowl appearances in his future. Hopefully, that future continues to be with the Saints throughout his career.

CGJ is currently No. 3 on the team in tackles behind only linebacker Demario Davis and safety Malcolm Jenkins. Gardner-Johnson also leads the Saints in passes defended on the season with 13, which is also good for tied at No. 10 in the NFL.

He also adds one interception and one sack to his 2020 resume. Over the course of his years in the NFL, Gardner-Johnson has continued to get better. He could be in for an even bigger role once 2021 rolls around.

That would mean he has a good shot at his first Pro Bowl next year.

Next. Top 30 players in Saints history. dark

The Saints had five players make it to this year’s Pro Bowl. Next year, they have a shot at being the team with the most Pro Bowl selections in the NFL. All we will have to do is wait and see how next year turns out.
