Michael Thomas, WR

This is probably the easiest one.

Michael Thomas had one of the greatest seasons that we have ever seen a receiver have in the NFL last year. The 2019 campaign saw Thomas shatter several long-standing personal, team, and NFL records.

Thomas was a Pro Bowler and first-team All-Pro selection last year as well as the AP Offensive Player of the Year, and it was no shock to anyone. When 2020 rolled around, Saints fans were excited to see if Thomas could keep up that production and lead their team farther.

Unfortunately, that was far — far — from the case. In 17 weeks this year, Thomas has made an appearance in seven of those games. That means that he has missed or not played in nine games for the Saints this season after that record year.

In a couple of those games, Thomas has still shown flashes of who he was last year. I suspect that when he gets healthier next year, he will be right back at it. He may not continue breaking NFL records, but he will be back in the Pro Bowl for the team.
