Matt Ryan

The Atlanta Falcons have four wins this season.

A fellow NFC South team, the Falcons have struggled mightily in a season in which they had hopes of getting back to their winning ways. It can’t all be put on veteran quarterback Matt Ryan, but his struggling play hasn’t helped.

Ryan has 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions this season. He’s had impressive games like a four-touchdown game against the Vikings and a three-touchdown outing against the Bucs. The player that led the Falcons to a Super Bowl is still in there.

If the Saints feel that he can lead the charge and the Falcons are willing to part with him at a low cost, then the team may look to add him, especially considering they should be seeing compensatory picks in the upcoming draft.

The Falcons will have a top-five pick in the 2021 NFL draft. They’ll likely be able to get their hands on Zach Wilson or Justin Fields. Both of those options are probably better than Ryan for next season.
