Number Three: Trey Hendrickson

Trey Hendrickson during the last two weeks of the regular season, I predict, will be the best defensive player on the New Orleans Saints’ defense.

Hendrickson, whose contract is set to expire following the season, is currently tied for second in the NFL in sacks and will be grinding hard to lead the league in that category against a pair of weak offensive lines.

Hendrickson, I believe, will follow up his dominant performance against the Kansas City Chiefs with another huge game against a much worse Vikings team.

He currently has 24 total tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, 24 quarterback hits, 12.5 sacks, and one forced fumble this season, and I believe his numbers will be drastically better following the game on Friday.

I wouldn’t be surprised with a stat line from Hendrickson that looks something like five total tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble on Friday as the Pro Bowl snub adds extra motivation to his play.
