Number One: Alvin Kamara

New Orleans has been blessed to have one of the best running backs in the NFL in their backfield, and the 2021 Pro Bowler will look to feast on Christmas Day.

Kamara has played well against the Vikings so far in his NFL career and has in fact recorded 61 touches, 147 receiving yards, 127 rushing yards, and four touchdowns against the team.

There’s no secret the Saints have a massive disadvantage in their receiving room at the moment with Michael Thomas, Tre’Quan Smith, Deonte Harris, and Marquez Callaway all expected to miss Friday’s matchup.

Kamara could play a huge role in helping the team make up for their loss at wide receiver by catching passes out of the backfield or even possibly lining up at wide receiver like we’ve seen him do in the past.

Latavius Murray is a reliable running back who could take over the majority of the rushing duties if the Saints wanted to split Kamara out wide and, to be quite frank, I don’t think that’s a bad idea.

The Saints will be doing everything in their power to feed the ball to their few playmakers on Friday, and Kamara could thrive with the ample opportunities he’s sure to receive.
