Two 100-yard rushers

The second present that Saints fans deserve this Christmas involves two of the offense’s most potent threats this year. The striking similarity, they both play the same position – running backs Latavius Murray and Alvin Kamara.

The present that fans can expect to open with the two of them is two 100-yard rushers on Christmas. Both of them have had their great games this year. Kamara and Murray have rushed for over 100 yards – but never in the same game.

Usually, if Murray runs for over 100 yards that means that Kamara spends most of his time catching the ball out of the backfield instead of running. On the opposite side, if Kamara runs for over 100 yards that means that Murray didn’t see many snaps.

It would be a Christmas miracle to see the Saints run both of them 18-20+ times each. It would relieve a lot of pressure off of Drew Brees, especially with Michael Thomas out for the remainder of the regular season.
