A Chauncey Gardner-Johnson touchdown

Chauncey Gardner-Johnson is one of the brightest up-and-coming stars for the Saints on defense. It was debatable to put him as a Pro Bowl snub for the game this year, but I don’t think he is quite at that level yet, but he is working towards it.

It would be amazing to see Gardner-Johnson score today. This could come in a mirage of ways. He could get a strip-sack from a blitz in the slot corner or safety positions, recover, and score. He could get a pick-six off of Kirk Cousins for a score.

He could also pick up another Saints’ forced fumble in a scoop and score. There are so many ways that Gardner-Johnson could accomplish this task, but it would be a great present for Saints’ fans on Christmas Day for a change.

To see the future of your defense playing at a high level gives you a sense of hope and relief that can cover even the fact that the Saints are on a two-game losing streak. This is the first present that would be a welcomed sight on Christmas Day.
