Latavius Murray

Some of you will be shocked by this final pick, but Latavius Murray hasn’t been playing overly well as of late.

Combine that with the fact that it will again be the Drew Brees show on Friday, and the team should opt to use the full force of Alvin Kamara, the back they gave a massive extension this past offseason.

As for Murray, he’s been awful his last three games. To be fair, he’s also been used far less. In Week 12, Murray went for 19 carries and his lone 100-yard performance, totaling 124 yards on the ground.

These past three though have painted a completely new picture of the veteran back. He’s had just 14 carries and totaled under 35 yards with those. It’s been tough, and there’s no reason to believe his struggles will end against the formidable Vikings defense.

Murray still has talent, but he’s in a slump and Kamara could then be the better play.
