The New Orleans Saints will take the field against the Minnesota Vikings as the only NFL game that will be played on Christmas Day.

It appears the New Orleans Saints are special. They’ll be playing on Christmas Day with a chance to not only clinch their division but to rid themselves of any opportunity of taking on a formidable foe in the first round.

Yes, we’re talking about the Minnesota Vikings. The Saints will be taking on the Vikings in Week 16, and although it’s a long shot for them to get in any, the Saints could make it impossible with a Week 16 victory.

There will be a few major keys to this game. Defending the Vikings lethal receiving duo of Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen will be key for the Saints, so Marshon Lattimore and Janoris Jenkins will have to play solid games.

On top of those two, the Saints defensive front will have to play well as they’ll be taking on one of the best running backs in the NFL in Dalvin Cook. Although the Vikings are just 6-8 and on the outside looking in, they need to be taking seriously.

That said, let’s dive into three players that the Saints should keep off the field heading into their second to last game.
