The Saints have been eliminated in the playoffs by the Vikings in two of the past three seasons. On Christmas Day, they have a chance to return the favor.

I think it is safe to say that Saints fans don’t exactly have fond memories of playing the Vikings.

In 2017, New Orleans was eliminated in the playoffs on the infamous “Minneapolis Miracle”. Then, in 2019, Minnesota defeated them in overtime despite being a massive underdog. It’s been a rough last few seasons.

However, fret not Saints fans; this is a time to reverse the organization’s fortunes! With a win against the Vikings, they not only can clinch the NFC South but also can eliminate Minnesota from playing contention!

Tensions should be high on Christmas Day when these two teams face-off, given their recent history. After all, this is the only game of the day and comes with major implications.

So, as the whole world watched them do battle, can the Saints send a message and get much-needed revenge? Let us break down this Holliday matchup!
